The One With Taylor vs. Corinne

Where did we end off again? Right, Taylor vs. Corinne..the battle of the preteens! This show really needs to stop with this to be continued crap, it is getting a bit old.

So what we have gathered from this confrontation: Corinne is telling Taylor that she is mean and no one likes her, but we am pretty sure no one else cares about either of you. So Corinne goes to talk to Nick and throws Taylor under the bus, and Nick obviously believes her because she is Corinne and she always gets what she wants. "Continue to show that maturity" - Nick Viall...OKAY WHAT?! We heard that right...right? Anyways, rose ceremony goes on and we realize that they are actually in a barn in the middle of fall? Winter? When you can see your breath, that means it is cold...why aren’t people wearing jackets?! We are from Canada, and we still know that you should wear a jacket in that weather….NO BOY IS WORTH THAT COLD MY FRIENDS!

Roses received: Whitney, Danielle M, Jasmine, Rachel, Jaimi, Josephine, Vanessa, Alexis, Corinne, Taylor. So they are really pushing the travel budget here, as the next destination is NEW ORLEANS!

One on One - Rachel

Before we discuss this date, we should address how we have no idea what version of Nick this is, we like it, but we don't recognize it. So they go to a market and try a bunch of new foods and this date just seems NATURAL! It feels very romantic comedy-esque. Also, not going to lie, those beignets look TO DIE FOR!!

Moving on to the evening portion where they are essentially in a Mardi-Grais graveyard? This is cool, but a tad creepy. We cannot believe how mesmerized Nick is by Rachel and we love it. "I might be breaking the rules here, but I am super into you" - Nick. So we find out her father is a federal judge, which could explain the attorney thing. We have one request: Nick, please bring Rachel to hometown dates so her father can scare the crap out of you! Rachel obviously got the rose.

Group Date - "Till death do us part"

This date takes place in a haunted house...NOPE NOPE NOPE, 10000% COUNT US OUT! Raven said it right "I didn't sign up to be one of the Ghostbusters". The girls enter the house and we meet the caretaker of the house named Boo? Clever name bud. He tells us that this little girl named May died in this house at the age of 8 and still haunts its walls. Lovely, so glad...cannot wait for this date. Dolls - WHY ARE THERE ALWAYS DOLLS?! On another note, is it just us..or does the portrait of May look a bit like George Washington???

So we reconvene in the living room (possibly?) and there is conveniently a Ouija board sitting right there for them to play...yippee! No idea if this is actually working, but throughout the night the girls decide to explore the mansion. Did we just move to a scene from Pretty Little Liars? Obviously Jasmine is pretending not to be scared, but how can you not be scared girl? Don't touch the statue...DON'T TOUCH THE STATUE...OHMYGOD! The chandelier so conveniently drops and smashed right at that exact moment. This seems like a legit haunted house. I wonder how many people actually go here for fun? Do you think they have a bunch of chandeliers and every time someone tries to touch the statue, they have to drop another chandelier?

Right, the "romantic" part of this date:

  • Nick and Danielle L. look awkward together. Does he even like her? We don't know.

  • Nick and Danielle M. are so sweet together and you can tell there is some connection, but she is too good for this man.

  • Raven just accidentally told Nick that she was falling in love with him..HAHA, you owned it girl.

  • Group date rose: DANIELLE M!

Two on One - Taylor vs. Corinne

It is the moment we were all waiting for, the worst date in history, where we all know the outcome. Of course they make them go in the wilderness on a small boat in a swamp. They get to land and go to some tribal ritual? Oh wait...New Orleans voodoo...greeeaaaatttttt. This is beyond relevant to the situation. [Photo credit: AceShowbiz.com]

Now they go to a "reader of the cards" - WHERE DO THEY FIND THESE PEOPLE?!?!?!

  • Taylor's reading: Naturally intuitive, very deep in touch with feelings, moving on from a toxic situation, someone is very hurtful with their words and do not get caught up with that and do not engage (LOL)

  • Corinne's reading: Her words are a bit troubled, they blow up, gets her in trouble; she wants to create a voodoo doll for Taylor?? (this is a sign of CRAZY)

Corinne spends the whole time bashing Taylor and he is definitely buying it because he cannot see past Corinne's craziness. Taylor doesn't even get a chance to explain herself, but really girl..you just need to go regardless. "Their relationship will be built on whip cream and lies" - Taylor

Corinne and Taylor are awkwardly sitting at the table together. How long do you think they make they sit like this? Nick comes back and holds the rose in his hand to build the tension....and the rose goes to - CORINNE! CLASSIC! TABLE FLIP! SEND THEM BOTH HOME! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Oh good, he doesn't even say bye to Taylor and he and Corinne just sail away on the motor boat.

Taylor decides to go all crazy voodoo on us and is completing this New Orleans ritual. She is totally cursing Corinne right now. She is totally going to crash Corinne and Nick's dinner party for two...wait for it...wait for it...BAMMMM! HELLO THERE!!

To be continued....
